Kelly Buildings were used for storage of materials during an outage so materials could be close to work area. Buildings needed to be mounted on top of an existing concrete structure. Buildings were sub-assembled on the ground and lifted into place to reduce assembly time.

This 48’W x 180’L x 16’ Eave building was supplied to NAVFAC as government furnished equipment and erected by a local contractor in a two week timeframe. Kelly Klosure was selected for the project because of our short manufacturing cycle, our commitment to on-time delivery, and our field service after the sale. The project had strict deadlines for the completion of the overall project due to the scheduled arrival of marines.

Provided a 33’ wide x 111’ long x 10’ eave height building for a fabrication shop at Duane Arnold Energy Center in Iowa. The building was erected in seven days by on-site maintenance workers using an existing concrete slab for a foundation. Kelly’s unique structure provided many locations for attaching interior lighting, heaters, and power connections.

Provided turn-key design-build services for these facilities. Project duration: 4 weeks for each facility, many in progress simultaneously. Facility consists of Kelly Klosure building, inspector’s booth, ventilation, radiant heat system, and electrical. The unique Kelly Klosure building allowed many of the facilities to be placed on existing asphalt paving without the need for extensive foundation systems.

This classroom building was constructed and finished out in a two week training period by military personnel. The building shell (42’W x 81’L x 10’ Eave) was erected in five days utilizing small equipment and hand tools. The classroom buildings were intended to be easily expanded in the future. Since the Kelly building panels are interchangeable this also allowed for easy changing of locations for windows and personnel doors on the site during installation.

Provide 5 two-story and 1 single-story building shells and 5 mezzanine structures to be installed and finished by Futron, Inc., a MAC contractor at Ft. Bragg. The order was received on February 10th, 2006, the last building and mezzanine shipped April 21st, 2006 a total of 10 weeks from receipt of order. The quick delivery schedule of the buildings and mezzanines and the speed of assembly of Kelly buildings and mezzanines allowed Futron to finish the project on time for the June 1st , 2006 deadline.

This 42’w x 42’l x 23’ eave building was designed to withstand up to 180 MPH wind load. Steel framework was hot dip galvanized to resist corrosion in the ocean air. The building was erected by a local Japanese contractor in five days.

The vehicle maintenance facility was designed with a mezzanine level to allow for office space above a tool room, mechanical room, and restrooms. Shop area was supplied with radiant heat and ventilation. Building system allows for the addition of future drive-through bays.

The building shell was erected in 10 working days. Because of the nature of the need, the building is designed to meet the Army’s requirements for a re-locatable facility. No more than 20% of the building cost can be left behind in relocation.
