Science and Engineering Services, Inc.
"Science and Engineering Services purchased a Kelly Klosure Building to be used as a Bead Blast and Paint Booth for painting military helicopters. However, we prepared the floor with a special hardener so we could bring in army track vehicles such as tanks and wheel vehicles for painting. The building size is 164’L x 48’W x 28’H and is separated in the center with a 38’W x 24’H rollup door. We installed 38’W x 24’H rollup doors at each end of the building and installed twin Air Makeup Downdraft Systems for the paint booth end of the building. The bead blast system was installed in an attached matching building for the other half of the building. Aircraft are brought in to the Bead Blast end, blasted, and then moved to the Paint Booth end for painting. This allows for continuous flow of aircraft through the booth.
The Kelly structure is an excellent building for our intended purpose and appears to be one of the sturdiest and finest looking buildings, from the inside to the outer skin, on the market. We have had many people tour the facility and all have been overly impressed. Every contractor admires the structure and has commented that they have not seen one to compare. We at SES are extremely pleased with our selection of building and the final installation. We show it to all visitors and customers with PRIDE."
