Design, engineer and manufacture a reusable enclosure to cover the aircraft launch catapults on the carrier deck during repairs. These units need to be watertight when installed and need to store efficiently without disassembly when not in use. The 30’-0” long units are design to lap over each other to create a watertight enclosure when installed. They have casters to ease movement on the aircraft deck. When not in use, the individual sections are designed to stack on top of each other up to 6 high.

Kelly Klosure expanded metal panels were used to create a secure area inside the distribution center of a major department store chain for processing jewelry and other high value items. The ease of installation allowed the area to be created in a very short period of time and allowed the center to remain operating while the work proceeded. The client installed the panels with their own maintenance crew. The security zone was then outfitted with closed circuit cameras and magnetic keypad entry systems.

The enclosure was set up to encompass the entire perimeter of the building for three floors at one time. As interior finishes progressed the enclosure was moved up the exterior of the building. This allowed Weitz to continue work in winter conditions without worrying about blow-outs and fire hazards involved with using plastic sheeting.
